Victory Baptist Church Ghana, 6, Prempeh Street, Tech Junction, Kumasi, is a Bible-believing, Christ-centred congregation with deep roots in the Kumasi community. Founded in 1985 and located in the Oforikrom Municipality of the Ashanti Region of Ghana, we exist for one reason: to draw people closer to God and to disciple them for the work of His Kingdom. For forty years, that mission has driven everything we do and by His grace, it always will.
We are a church that believes the Word of God is alive, powerful, and entirely sufficient for every situation a person will ever face. Our Sunday services are marked by sincere worship, Spirit-led prayer, and the kind of Biblical teaching that meets you exactly where you are and takes you somewhere deeper. Whether you are a longtime believer or someone who has never set foot in a church before, you will find in us a community that is genuinely glad you came and genuinely committed to walking with you in faith.
Under the leadership of Rev. Emmanuel Osei Yeboah, Victory Baptist Church has grown from a faithful gathering of early believers into one of the most respected congregations in the Ashanti Region. Our growth has never been measured only in numbers. It has been measured in lives changed, families restored, young people grounded in truth, and a community tangibly served. Over the decades, the church has constructed a classroom block and provided a borehole for the Ayigya community, established the Victory Baptist School Complex, and maintained a consistent, compassionate programme of care for the elderly. In May 2025, we celebrated our 40th Anniversary with the dedication of our newly completed ultramodern auditorium and the groundbreaking for a modern administration block milestones that stand as a testimony to God’s faithfulness across four decades.
We are a church that takes the Great Commission seriously. The Gospel is not only preached from our pulpit it is lived in our neighbourhood. We have sought to be a blessing to Ayigya: to our Muslim neighbours, to the families around us, to the children in our community, and to the aged among us. The queen mother of Ayigya has publicly commended the church for the peace, service, and love it has shown to all people in the community and we receive that as a reminder of the standard God calls us to maintain. Faith without works is not Biblical faith, and we intend to keep building on the legacy of service our founders established.
